According to Chaodian Intelligence research, as of last month, the global smart door lock face recognition best-selling models TOP5, total sales of about 220,000 sets.

 

Among them, Xiaomi occupies 24% of the market share with a cumulative sales of about 50,000 sets, ranking first. Cadiz and TCL ranked second and third with occupying 22% and 20% of the market share respectively.

 

From the list, it is not difficult to find that the smart door lock face recognition in this field, domestic manufacturers are clearly ahead of the game.

 

 

 

Back to the first quarter of 2022, the world's top 10 best-selling smart door lock brands, occupying more than 10% market share of only two brands Deshman and Yale, quarterly shipments are more than 500,000 sets. The next four companies, Kwikset, Cadiz, August, and Xiaomi, all have market shares between 5% and 10%, with shipments in the range of 250,000-500,000 units.

 

 

 

The above 10 companies together occupy less than 60% of the market for smart door locks, the market competition is at a white-hot stage.

 

On the other hand, according to Tide Electric Intelligence data, the global smart door lock shipments reached a total of 5.11 million sets in Q1 2022, an increase of 12.6% year-on-year.

 

 

 

However, due to the high base impact of 54% growth rate in the same period last year, while the recurrence of the epidemic in important domestic cities continues to affect the national consumer sentiment towards the smart door lock market, in addition, the outlook for some key overseas markets remains uncertain, with many door lock manufacturers adopting a more robust and conservative operating strategy.

 

Therefore, Tide Electric Intelligence expects that the global smart door lock market will still maintain year-on-year growth in Q2 2022, but the increase is no higher than 10%, with an expected Q2 shipment of 5.3 million sets and an annual shipment of 42.4 million sets.
