As the flagship model for Redmi's tenth anniversary, the Redmi K70's product capabilities have garnered widespread attention in the mobile phone industry.

Before its official launch on November 29, Xiaomi Group's Lu Weibing emphasized on Weibo during interactions with netizens that the Redmi K70 series would leave its mark for an entire year. Xiaomi's Wang Teng also stated, "This time, we won't leave any chance for our competitors."

According to official figures, on December 1, the first sale of the K70 series surpassed 600,000 units within just 5 minutes. Wang Teng mentioned that this is undeniably the strongest performance in the history of the K series.

Trendy Electronics Think Tank learned from the industry chain that the total stockpile of the Redmi K70 series is around 5 million units, marking a significant increase of 2 million units compared to the previous K60 series.

"This increase could be attributed to enhanced product competitiveness and the growth in overseas markets," said a core manufacturer in the mobile phone industry chain. They noted that with a new wave of upgrade cycles approaching and the near completion of terminal inventory digestion, the overall supply chain has markedly improved in shipments since the latter half of this year.

The imaging system has been a continuous focus for major smartphone manufacturers, and Redmi is no exception.

The Redmi K70 series is equipped with Xiaomi's self-developed Pangolin OS, and the main camera has been upgraded to the Light Hunter 800 sensor. According to evaluations from multiple professional institutions, the new product has seen a qualitative improvement in image quality, light intake, and depth of field compared to its predecessor.

When the K60 series was released last year, Lu Weibing explicitly stated that Xiaomi's imaging technology had been fully extended to Redmi. This time, Xiaomi's flagship Night Owl algorithm has also been extended to the K70 Pro. Additionally, the new AI technology integrated into the Redmi K70 Pro brings a lightning-fast shooting experience of 30 frames per second, marking a new highlight in the integration of AI and mobile terminals.

Trendy Electronics Think Tank further learned from the industry chain that the main suppliers for the camera module of the Redmi K70 series are OFILM, Sunny Optical, and Chicony; the main lens suppliers are OFILM, Sunny Optical, Chicony, and Largan; the main CMOS chip suppliers are Huaqin, Sony, and Goke; and the main motor suppliers are Xin Si Kao and Haoze.

Compared to the K60 series, there have been significant changes in the K70 series camera supply chain. For instance, Samsung, which previously supplied comprehensive modules, motors, and chips, is conspicuously absent. The new list of suppliers does not feature Largan, and Chicony and Haoze are respectively supplying lenses and motors.

On November 23, the official Redmi account announced that Redmi, along with domestic supply chain partners, would jointly launch the "2 Trillion New Vision Plan" and released a relatively detailed list of Chinese industry chain partners. This list includes TCL Huaxing, AAC, Huaqin, Bluestar Technology, Longqi Group, Unisoc, Burn-in, Vicor, Tianma, Sunny Optical, HDSC, Guanyu, Changxin Storage, Zeusmicro, Awei Electronics, Silicon Labs, Weijie Chuangxin, Huaqin Technology, WT Microelectronics, Lingyi Intelligent Manufacturing, BYD Electronics, Tongda Group, OFILM, Goertek, and more.
