In July, China's top 10 best-selling hybrid vehicles sold a total of 102,000 units, up 16% from the previous month, accounting for 21% of China's total new energy vehicle sales in that month.

 

 

Among them, BYD still made the list with 5 models (Dynasty 4, Ocean 1), with total sales of 79,900 units, up 18% YoY, occupying 78% of the market share. Once again, it became the brand with the highest number of selected models and total sales in the list.

 

 

The remaining three seats, in addition to the regulars Ideal ONE and Celes Askworld M5, Geely's Dihao LHi・X also joined the list this month. In July, it took a seat in the Top 10 list of best-selling hybrid cars in China with sales of 5,586 units.

 

 

 

 

Geely LHi-X is the first model with Thor "Super Hybrid" released by Geely Automobile, which was launched globally on April 26th this year, and the first delivery ceremony was held in Hangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Wuhan and Zhengzhou on June 26th.

In July, the domestic narrow passenger car market sales reached 1.818 million units, up 20.4% year-on-year. The car market has rebounded significantly and sales are gradually returning to pre-epidemic levels, with new energy passenger car sales of 486,000 units, up 117.3% year-on-year.

 

 

Hybrid cars in the domestic start later than pure electricity, while more hybrid technology solutions, charging facilities and other supporting construction and many problems, resulting in the current market hybrid cars, both in the overall purchase volume, or market growth rate, are a little lower than pure electric cars.
